Karen's Blog ~ The Woodstock Inn ~ Catskill's Bed and Breakfast

This week Woodstock is THE place to be—starting on Wednesday with the Woodstock Film Festival kick off party—till Sunday with the Blessing of the Animals at the Woodstock Farm Sanctuary!  Films all week long in numerous theaters in the area—I will be catching a documentary on Thursday entitled “Those Who Remain.”   This festival just gets better & BIGGER every year!  Check out their website at www.WoodstockFilmFestival.com  Believe it or not I still have a couple of rooms left due to last minute cancellations!  Call me now! 

The leaves have started to change–a slight chill in the air–and I am psyched for Autumn!  This is my favorite time of year to be out in the woods running–and that is exactly what I am doing.  John has convinced me to sign up for a trail marathon–he will be doing the 50 miler–I guess I should consider myself  lucky –at least I am only going 26.2 miles instead of 50!  So training is on……ugh..I mean yeah!!

If you have never checked out the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival in nearby Saugerties…this may be your weekend!  I still have rooms left….believe it or not–including the luxurious cottage!  So come on up and keep away those vampires!

I know I’ve been a bit remiss in my blogging duties—-August was a blur…and I am just coming down–what a great–FUN month in Woodstock!  I met so many awesome people —It was sooooo  busy!  We also get so many “old friends”  and it’s a chance for me to catch up with everyone.   Hands down the Woodstock Inn on the Millstream has the best guests!!  Justine, Adam, Linda, Marcia, Mom, Steven, Eileen, Scott, Elena, Tom, Maureen, Robin, Jeff, Dolores, Jim, Regina, Mike, Margaret, Deborah, Eileen, Aaron, Nancy, Terry, Jeremy, Laurie, Jen, Andrea, Alan, Crystal, hannah, Roger, Katherine, Isabel, Roy, Trevor, Ron & Laura, Peter, Chris, Sandra, Gaby, Denise, Carl, Len, Christine, Siena, Hunter, Mark, Janet, Angelica & family—on and on….you all know who you are!  Thank you for making my job the easiest job in the world!!
