I will be cooking up a storm for my traditional VERY Italian Christmas Eve feast with all sorts of fish and pasta.  I hope to make my Nanna proud…and my Dad and my Mom!   Everyone will be congregating on the village green to witness Santa’s arrival…it is always a treat and quite the tradition here in town.  If you would like to experience a Woodstock/Catskill Christmas…this is the year!

This weekend in Woodstock–wow…so many great concerts…you simply must catch Happy Traum & Friends at the Bearsville Theater www.bearsvilletheater.com  on Friday night 12/18 @8PM.  So many talented musicians will be joining him onstage including;  Amy Helm, Teresa Williams, Larry Campbell & John Sebastian…DON”T MISS IT!  Then on Saturday 12/19 also at Bearsville catch Donna the Buffalo.

That’s what they are predicting for tomorrow..  yeah!  Winter is finally here and I do not mind one bit.  There are so many great choices this weekend here for music I am not quite sure how I will do it all!  At the Colony Cafe you can hear Shannon McNally (www.shannonmcnally.com) on Saturday night 12/12.  She is an amazing talent ..so don’t miss this show!  Also on Saturday at the Bearsville Theater Perfect Thyroid will battle themselves apparently?…sounds interesting…check out the website www.bearsvilletheater.com .   You also have the Midnight Ramble at Levon Helm’s in case you haven’t heard…his album Electric Dirt has been nominated for a Grammy for best Americana album!  Congratulations Mr. Helm!  On Sunday night at Bearsville catch the WDST concert event…Hot Tuna-Acoustic.
