Because you CAN come to Woodstock this weekend!!  Remember this weekend folks…book one night and get the second night at 1/2 price!  If you are into skiing, snowshoeing or just plain ol’ peace and quiet…this is the weekend to come to the Woodstock Inn!

A bit of snow coming this week…nothing too dramatic though…so come on up!  On Friday night you can catch John Holt of Hallow Dog at Woodstock’s newest funky venue…Harmony Cafe which is next to Wok n’ Roll …just a short walk from the Inn.  Even though I get to hear him rehearse almost everyday…it always sounds amazing…and I love to see him put on a show!  

If you come up midweek–remember we are still running the special 2 for 1!! On Thursdays you can hear some of the best bluegrass around at the Bearsville Theater…and after..stick around for Ms. Angie’s Karaoke!

Believe it or not I have a couple of rooms open this Friday or Sunday–for the holiday and the Woodstock Writer’s Festival.  Our 2 night minimum booked some Sat & Sun and some Fri & Sat…so take advantage of the one nighters that are left!

Special congrats to Levon Helm and his band for the Grammy win on Sunday!!! If you haven’t been to a Ramble yet…. Go to  www.levonhelm.com to check for upcoming rambles in Woodstock and buy Electric Dirt!  As of right now there are still tickets left for the Feb. 13 & 20th shows…but hurry…tickets never last!

A couple of great shows at the Bearsville Theater www.bearsvilletheater.com  One eskimO with opening act Elmwood will play on Friday, 2/5 doors 8PM show at 9PM only $15!  I checked out both of the bands online and loved the music.  On Saturday its the 26th annual Woodstock Tribute to Bob Marley sponsored by Upstate Reggae and Radio Woodstock.  One of the bands on the bill, Royal Heart Sound played with John on New Year’s at the Colony….they were truly amazing!

On Valentines/Presidents weekend get your tickets for the Woodstock Writer’s Festival.  www.woodstockwritersfestival.com Also playing that weekend at the Bearsville Theater is Assembly of Dust on Saturday 2/13.
